Igniting Leaders and Teams is a free one-day event presenting different ways organisations can effectively invest in the development of their leaders and employees to develop their full potential and create a dynamic and agile workforce.

Designed for L&D professionals and HR leads, this event will be centred around three main themes:

► Driving team effectiveness by addressing headwinds and providing solutions outlined by our in-house research

► The key headwinds women face in progressing in their careers and how to navigate them

► How coaching principles can be integrated into organisational culture and how leaders can interact with their teams like coaches.

Sessions

Generating actionable solutions from our in-house research to drive team effectiveness

Hybrid working has enabled teams to be more flexible and agile. However, the physical and psychological distancing of team members has impacted the dynamics within teams, resulting in a loss of identity, cohesion between employees and overall performance.

Driving team effectiveness requires addressing these together with the three compelling components of belonging, purpose and agility - the ingredients of high-performing teams

►Detailing the ways organisations can strengthen the team's sense of belonging in a group

► Giving practical advice for leaders on how to apply new behaviours in a team’s workflow to develop new habits and sustain high performance

► Discussing how to create an agile team committed to delivering a shared purpose.

Based on our longstanding partnerships with blue chip companies, we are able to contribute uniquely placed insight into foreseen and unforeseen pitfalls and how organisations can overcome them.

Women in leadership: Enabling women to thrive at work

Motivations to address gender equality in our organisations vary from ‘it’s the right thing to do’ to ‘it positively impacts the bottom line’. Consequently, many organisations in this age of talent scarcity and social consciousness are prioritising how women develop and progress to leadership.

Programmes enabling women to thrive are moving forward with greater urgency, moving from narrative promise to evidenced impact. Following years of expertise in this field, we will be sharing our proprietary research and insights that have shaped our perspective regarding how best to positively impact and elevate women.

This session will:

► Discuss several case studies where women were successful in progressing to leadership

► Present actionable advice for HR to start creating the right environment women need to progress unimpeded

► Discuss ways HR can promote and encourage women to take ownership of their careers and provide key support.

Building a coaching culture

Coaching culture remains a hot topic for HR and L&D professionals. We will share coaching techniques can be adopted by your leaders to motivate, drive and engage their teams while elevating the performance of leaders. We will explore how businesses create a synergetic, collaborative and purpose-led culture underpinned by coaching principles. The session will:

► Provide practical advice that HR can implement in their organisations to see how coaching principles can encourage generative thinking

► Show how HR can encourage the environment to allow for these cultural improvements to take place

► Demonstrate the successes of role modelling and how HR leads can look to create a coaching culture within their organisations.

► Highlight the pitfalls when implementing a coaching culture and how to avoid them.

Based on our longstanding successful partnerships with organisations to build a coaching culture, we will be discussing the power and benefits of coaching and answering the big question: What does having an agile mindset mean and how can you drive change and transformation through having the right relationships?
